The recall concerns the tensioner on seat belts that may melt or catch fire in some collision situations
The story itself talks about 1.4 million cars but it’s going back to early 2008 and taking in worldwide figures, most of these vehicles are not sold in the US. From what I can puzzle out from the story, the Yaris is only thing involved here and now.
